care—fall is an immersive installation artwork that transforms a carpark into an environment where plants, water and sonic vibrations converge.
Guided by principles of water-sensitive urban design aiming to improve water quality and increase biodiversity, the artists have created a series of speculative rain gardens for art and culture lovers, garden enthusiasts, nature adventurers and activists to invite a reimagining of urban wildness.
On Sunday 28th September the gardens will be activated through experimental sonic and vibrational performances. Visitors will be invited to quite literally feel the presence of plants, water, and human bodies as part of one interconnected system. Intimate pre-cinematic projection experiences will further expand visitors' interaction with the work, fluidly bringing together art, ecology, and infrastructure.
care—fall is presented as part of the 2025 Nature Festival with support from the City of Adelaide.
