Bring along a denim item that needs some love and give it a second life.
Led by Mary Heath, a local environment activist and creative upcycler, this hands-on Visible Mending workshop will show you creative ways to repair and transform your worn-out jeans, jackets, and other denim items into unique pieces.
This workshop will show you how to turn rips and holes into an opportunity. You'll learn various stitches, patching methods, and design ideas that not only strengthen your denim but also add personality. It's a fun, sustainable way to extend your wardrobe's life and express your individual style.
If you don't have a denim item to repair, you will get to work on a patch to learn all the techniques and arm yourself towards sustainable fashion.
