Come and explore your local reserve and reconnect with nature at Little Para!
Join us on Monday 29 September for a morning of hands-on activities, including building a Wardli (shelter), birdwatching and special student-led tours with guides from Riverdale Primary School.
Natural spaces are where we play, learn and grow a life-long connection with nature - and there’s no better place to start than your own backyard.
We’ll be meeting at De Mille Street, Salisbury Downs, right next to Riverdale Primary School. Just look for the Our Big Backyard flags to find us.
Don’t forget to wear your gumboots and get ready to discover one of Salisbury’s hidden natural treasures.
Children, please bring a grown-up along so you can explore and learn safely together.
*This project is a community partnership between Green Adelaide, City of Salisbury, Riverdale Primary School, Riverview Preschool, Kuma Kaaru, Morella Community Centre and Salisbury Communities for Children.
