Close to the bustle of Harbour Town and the incessant traffic along Tapleys Hill Road, but seeming a world away.
Hidden away on Adelaide Airport land, Patawalonga Creek contains the last remnant stand of swamp paperbark habitat in the metro area, accessible via a public walking trail since 2018. Meet at busstop 14B on West Beach Road (opposite Atlantic Avenue); parking is available in the soccerfield carpark, just west of the Creek.
