‘Dreams are the seeds of change. Nothing ever grows without a seed, and nothing ever changes without a dream’ Debby Boone.
September 25th is World Dream Day. World Dream Day was established in 2012 by Ozioma Egwuonwu as a day to inspire and activate the power of ideas, dreams and goals. Its a day of celebration to honour the role dreams play in our lives and to ignite the passion of the dream within us. But just like seeds, dreams need the right conditions to grow. This workshop will invite you to create the conditions for your dream seed to grow by using creativity to draw and collage your dream. We will draw inspiration from nature’s seeds by learning about different types of seeds and their dispersal methods-can we learn how to make our dream a reality by following nature’s lead?
Then we will engage in movement by walking the labyrinth and allowing the space for our dream to flow through us. Afterwards, there will be time for reflection and reading of dream inspired affirmations and quotes. To conclude, we will sign a Dream Declaration where we will commit to taking action to fulfil our dream.
Please bring a folding chair if you can.
