Spend a morning fostering a deeper connection to nature by practicing the gentle arts of nature journaling and bushcare in beautiful bushland.
This mindful activity encourages participants to slow down, notice, delve and give back.
This event is suitable for anyone who is in general good health. There is some bending, kneeling and squatting involved as well as walking a short distance on uneven ground. No heavy lifting is required.
Any children (17 or under) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. This activity is most suited to ages 15+.
On the day you will need:
* Suitable clothing (hat, long pants and long sleeved shirt)
* Strong enclosed shoes
* Drinking water
* Folding chair
All tools, equipment and training will be provided.
Toilets are located on site. Street parking available next to site.
Participants will be sent more detailed information about the event and where to meet on site after they register.
You will help native vegetation on site to thrive by removing invasive weeds.
