Introduction
Humans have long moved on two feet, yet we share an ecological niche with animal bodies like fish, monkeys, birds and reptiles. We listen to trees, rocks, sand and water-ways. We share with each other what is meaningful to us here-and-now. This event explores the nature festival theme "seed" through movement and voice, guiding participants through an embodied journey through human evolution.
Dean is a local who lives in Semaphore, who wants to build human connection, agency, leadership and creativity through embodied play. This event explores his interest in inclusive multi-disciplinary experiences that blend play-based and place-based body-movement with practices inspired by Fighting Monkey, Parkour, Embodied Voice & The Musical Body.
