A casual movie night for local young people. Come in your oodie or PJs, bring a beanbag or pillow, and settle in to watch award-winning movie, Flow. Flow is an Oscar-winning film, with stunning visuals, and was all created by independent filmmakers using the free modelling software, Blender.
The world seems to be coming to an end, teeming with the vestiges of a human presence. Cat is a solitary animal, but as its home is devastated by a great flood, he finds refuge on a boat populated by various species, and will have to team up with them despite their differences. In the lonesome boat sailing through mystical overflowed landscapes, they navigate the challenges and dangers of adapting to this new world.
This event will be staffed by volunteers with Working with Children checks. Parents/ caregivers are welcome to leave their children and return for pick up. For this reason we request an emergency contact. Alternatively, parents/ caregivers can stay and socialise with one another over a drink in a seperate section of the clubrooms.
Suitable for ages 8+.
Snacks and drinks available for purchase on the night with card facilities available. $5 Snack packs available for pre-order containing popcorn, cup of fruit and a fruit juice.
