We are presenting four workshops over the three weekends of the festival. Participants in hand built pottery will participate in a two part workshop on the first and last weekends to allow for drying and bisque firing between sessions and will explore carving, building up and glazing pottery. All other workshops are individual events.
Our offerings include the following:
· Hand building Pottery using seed pod, foliage and bird forms for garden totems over two sessions on Saturday 26 Sept and Sunday 11 Oct,
· Mixed Media Magic - monoprinting on paper using plant leaves, flowers and seeds on Sunday 4 Oct,
· Planted Abstracts - abstract painting on paper, based on abstracting seed forms on Saturday 10 Oct, and
· Basketry with waxed natural fibres, seeds and pods on Sunday 11 Oct.
This event is part-funded through a Nature Festival regional micro-grant, generously supported by RAA and the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board.
