This exhibition is in my home gallery; Small Space Gallery; situated in my contemplative back garden.
It has been inspired by one of my favourite Australian singer/songwriter, and is my response to this song. He wrote a song called Crippled Creek, it tells the story of how the Snowy river was "dammed" and that the local environment was changed but "not necessarily in a good way. " this has happened to many rivers and we need to be reminded just how harmful it can be.
Our rivers in flow are precious, so take care. "they dammed this river; and damn near killed it's soul; folks round here are leaving ; ain't no reason not to go"---(excerpts of song penned by M Mclellan.)
