The Koala Food Project is a nature-connected, community-led event that supports wildlife care through habitat stewardship. Volunteers will help maintain a Manna Gum plantation that supplies fresh browse for koalas at Cleland Wildlife Park and rescue centres. Set in the heart of Kuitpo Forest, the event includes a ranger-led forest walk and a talk by Cleland’s Koala Care ranger, deepening understanding of koala conservation and forest ecology. It’s a hands-on opportunity to build skills, connect with nature, and contribute meaningfully to South Australia’s biodiversity.
