About the Event
This is a sensory-friendly photo treasure hunt with no pressure at all, just a gentle way of being in nature. With mindful prompts and plenty of time to explore, children are encouraged to slow down, notice the little details around them, and capture their discoveries with a camera or phone (with parent help).
Designed for children aged 3-8 years old (but any age is welcomed), the event is especially welcoming to neurodivergent kids and families. As a neurodivergent person and mum to two neurodivergent kids, I’ve created this experience to be inclusive, calming, and fun for all.
No photography experience is needed, just curiosity, a camera (or phone), and a willingness to see the world differently. This event is about play, creativity, and connection in a safe, supportive environment where every child can shine at their own pace.
About Me
I am an accredited mindfulness photographer, using photography as a therapeutic tool to help people slow down, connect with the present moment, and discover the beauty in everyday details.
