Celebrate Nature Festival with the opening of three exhibitions at the Gallery at St Peters Town Hall, featuring the work of five nature inspired artists.
Nature’s Foundations 4 features the work of the three recipients of the Nature Foundation's artist in residency recipients, Kirrily Anderson, Catherine Bourn and Josephine Lennon. Each artist interprets and expresses how the environment of remote Australia has influenced and inspired them during each of their residencies.
Chloe Noble's exhibition ‘the way they move through air’ brings together painting, digital art, poetry, and journal entries to explore birds as both subject and symbol. The exhibition reflects on the quiet act of watching - the slow, attentive process of noticing patterns, behaviours, and moments of connection.
small lives through the lens is a photography exhibition by Gregory Coote, which captures the lives of insects and spiders as they go about their business. Living lives parallel to our own, inhabiting the spaces around us in their millions but often ignored, reviled as nuisances or dangerous, or simply enjoyed as colourful backgrounds to our lives, insects and spiders are essential to the health of life on earth.
Opening 6-8pm Friday 3 October 2025
Exhibitions open until 4pm Saturday 15 November
