Being outside in nature is great for your mental health and well being. Join us in Adelaide's beautiful Park Lands to enjoy a guided nature walk then try your hand at gentle bushcare.
The Park Lands is the perfect place to connect safely with nature and others.
No prior knowledge or experience is required. All the training, equipment and personal safety gear will be provided on the day by our friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Participants will be sent event location details after they register.
This activity is suitable for anyone who is in general good health. There is some bending, kneeling and squatting as well as walking a short distance on uneven ground.
City of Adelaide residents 55+ and international students are encouraged to attend.
A healthy lunch is also provided.
Any children (17 or under) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Transport in a mini bus is offered from our May Terrace office or you can meet us on site.
On the day you will need:
· Suitable clothing (hat, long pants and long-sleeved shirt)
· Boots or strong shoes (with good grip)
· Drinking water, a snack and lunch
· A folding chair
· Sunscreen and insect repellent
