As Nature Festival’s Cultural Ambassador for FLOW, Narungga artist and researcher Brad Darkson brings deep knowledge of Sea Country and cultural revival, exploring FLOW through stories of water, connection, and care for marine environments for Nature Festival 2025.
As part of his role with Nature Festival, Brad has designed this invitation-only long lunch to celebrate and talk about caring for Sea Country over a shared meal. And we want to invite you.
Hosted at Conservation SA in the old stock exchange building, this intimate long lunch brings together community leaders, government representatives, and scientists around a shared table of food that tells stories of Sea Country.
Co-hosted by Brad Darkson, the gathering is designed to foster honest conversation, relationship-building, and knowledge-sharing across cultures and sectors. With a focus on listening and big-picture thinking, the lunch will provide a space to consider the challenges facing Sea Country and explore new pathways for collaboration and care.
This event invites our invited guests to taste how water, food, and culture move together in cycles of care on our plates, offering a powerful reminder that when communities lead with knowledge and respect, the flow between people and Country is restored and sustained.
Chef Jamie Musgrave joins the event from Restaurant Botanic serving us with tastes of the sea.
Jamie has worked with Brad Darkson and the Moonrise Seaweed Team to celebrate the tastes of the oceans for all invited guests.
