Shhh… it’s a secret.
The Secret Gardens
What if you followed a seed and didn’t know where it would lead?
Join nomadic artist LeeLee Love on a mysterious journey through nature, creativity, connection and care.
We’ll gather at a designated starting point before setting off together towards a secret Adelaide garden or green space. The destination remains unknown until we arrive.
The Secret Gardens is an evolving participatory artwork exploring the many meanings of SEED — from the seeds we plant in the earth, to the seeds of kindness, creativity, hope, care and belonging that we plant in ourselves and one another.
Each gathering is a new chapter.
Along the way, you might be invited to notice, wander, make, listen, share, play or leave something behind. The experience unfolds through encounters with people, place, artists and community.
At the heart of the project is a growing kindness vine — a living thread connecting each secret garden and carrying seeds, stories, ideas, gestures and acts of care from one encounter to the next.
Adelaide artist Lee Salomone joins the project as a local invited artist, contributing his own seed-inspired work to the evolving garden.
Artist duo Match box Projects will leave participants with something to seed, nurture and nourish beyond the experience.
No two Secret Gardens are quite the same.
The destination is secret. The possibilities are open.
Come curious. Come open.
Bring comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing and an open heart.
The meeting location will be shared with registered guests 24 hours before each experience.
Hosted by LeeLee Love & special guests.
What will you discover when you follow a seed?
