As night falls, the bush comes alive with nocturnal wildlife. You may spot possums scurrying up tree trunks, owls gazing back at you, and Grey-headed Flying-foxes gliding overhead on their nightly forage.
This relaxed 2 km evening walk offers a wonderful chance to experience the magic of wildlife after dark. Along the way, you’ll learn how to tell the difference between ringtail and brushtail possums, see a ringtail drey, visit a reunite and release site, and you may even observe a joey riding on its mother’s back.
The tour also provides an opportunity to ask questions about our Possum Reunite Program and the fascinating lives of possums.
Suitable for children of all ages, the walk is wheelchair accessible, and those with limited mobility can shorten the walk or leave at any time.
Meet at 6:45 pm for a 7:00 pm start.
