This years Nature Festival explores the theme of Flow. Join Rosina Possingham and Dominic Guerrera for a 2 hour workshop by the river.
Learn about Kurdanyitpi /PIRLTAWARDLI (Possum place) and create cyanotypes with plants and words.
Come and learn how to make beautiful blue and white images using the sun! Cyanotypes are a form of cameraless photography, one of the first photographic processes - the original blueprint.
We will collect plants to create photograms and we will write on tracing paper to make our own prints.
This could be ruby saltbush / Kurdanyitpi project is a collaboration between Rosina Possingham and Dominic Guerrera that looks at what was here and what could return within our natural landscapes. This project is just as much about the future as it is the past.
We seek to return native roots to the soil that once held them and bring into existence the future we demand to leave behind.
