Sunrise by the Ocean Walk and Breakfast

Hosted by
Big Heart Adventures
Hosted by
Big Heart Adventures

Witness the beauty and awe of an Adelaide sunrise from Tennyson Dunes Lookout. Join us for a gentle walk and a foot dip in the ocean......

As part of Nature Festival 2024, join us for the most inspiring start to your day - walking and witnessing a sunrise from Tennyson Beach.

We start our walk along the newly constructed footpath from Mirani Court Reserve (toilet located here) towards Tennyson Dunes for approx 2km.  There is a lookout where we can witness the sky colours change as the sun rises.

Setting an intention the day ahead, sunrise is one of the most powerful times of the day to bring new energy into your day.

You may wish to walk barefoot on the sand, dip your toes in the shallows or choose a spot to enjoy a guided meditation to engage all your senses to connect you deeper with the marine landscapes.

Enjoy a hot drink and light breakfast with us, before we return you by bus (or you may choose to walk 2km back to our meet spot).

Walking surfaces include footpath, compact gravel that undulates through the coastal pathway and soft sand.

Please advise of any dietary needs at time of booking.

Your leaders are all certified Bushwalking Leaders holding first aid qualifications and carry group first aid kits.

We respectfully acknowledge that our gathering is on Kaurna Land traditionally owned by the Kaurna People.

A list of essential and suggested comfort items including a head torch (compulsory) and any details regarding our location/meet spot information will be emailed to attendees 48 hours prior to the event subject to the weather forecast.

Having basic fitness is all that is required to join us (being able to walk 2km comfortably) however the terrain is uneven in places so comfortable footwear such as runners, joggers or hiking sandals are encouraged.

We suggest anyone under 18 attend with an adult and this event is recommended for those aged 15 and above.

Please stay home if unwell or if requested by SA Health.

For any enquiries or questions, phone Lisa on 08 7006 5620 / 0418 802 361

No refunds if cancelling 48 hours or less before event.  All cancellations prior to this time will incur 50% cancellation fees.
